Owner/Guide - Keith Allison has been fishing and guiding the Olympic Peninsula for over 30 years, the mecca of native winter and spring steelhead. From my youth I've been pursuing these magnificent fish around the Pacific Northwest. From summer steelhead on the Klickitat, Grand Ronde and upper Columbia tributaries to fall chinook and coho up and down the coast,  to winter run steelhead on the OP. There's anadromous fish to pursue virtually every month of the year around Washington! Living and working on the OP is a true privilege, from day hikes into Olympic National Park to pursue trout and steelhead in summer to wilderness floats during fall and winter months thru pristine rainforest watersheds.

Guide - John Whitlatch of Reel Adventures, started guiding in Alaska at the age of 17. He now calls Washington home, living in the Snoqualmie Valley guiding on the Skagit, Skykomish and Snohomish watersheds as well as the Columbia River and it's tributaries like the Cowlitz. John was born with a tiller motor in his hand.  He also guides on the Klickitat in the fall and the OP during winter months. His knowledge of salmon and steelhead is unparalleled. A day on the water with him is quite an experience, with nearly 30 years of professional guiding under his belt there's an endless list of stories that unfold over a day on the water. One of John's proudest moments was guiding his client and friend Joel, photo above, into a world record catch and release Chinook salmon on the mighty Kenai River.

Guide - John Wilcox has been guiding around America's western states since high school. He's about as "fishy" as they come and has quickly become one of the best steelhead guides on the OP. I asked him once how he managed to have a successful day on rising water...he motioned to the back of his ear and said "See that... those are gills." Sometimes I think he does swim with the fishes... although that's not always by his choice.

Guide - Luis " Luigi" San Diego has been sport and commercial fishing in Washington and Alaska for nearly 20 years. You will not find a more versatile angler out there from swinging flies to swinging spoons and everything in between. The newest addition to the Chrome Chasers family, Luis has quickly become one of the most requested guides on our staff, from steelhead to chinook and coho, if their biting he's going to find them.

We are licensed guides for Olympic National Park's Quinault, Queets, Hoh and Quillayute Rivers. If you've never fished these upper watersheds your missing out on some of the most pristine Steelhead and Salmon rivers in the lower 48.

Wild Steelhead and their conservation is the single most important thing we can teach to fellow anglers. It's more than catch and release. Proper techniques and handling can insure that these amazing fish will be around for generations to come. We support the organizations that help protect wild fish. By purchasing products that are made in the USA from companies such as Orvis, we are helping to restore and maintain our outdoor heritage and you can help by doing the same.
