Guide - Luis San Diego has been sport and commercial fishing in Washington and Alaska for nearly 20 years. You will not find a more versatile angler out there from swinging flies to swinging spoons and everything in between. The newest addition to the Chrome Chasers family, Luis has quickly become one of the most requested guides on our staff, from steelhead to chinook and coho, if they are biting he's going to find them.

Guide - John Whitlatch has been guiding since high school all over Alaska, Washington and Oregon. He was born with a tiller motor in his hand. Chinook salmon is his passion from the Alaska's Kenai river, where he guided summer fisheries for over 20 years, to the mighty Columbia, Rogue, Umpqua and beyond. Pictured above with a IGFA catch and release world class Kenai king salmon with client and friend Joel Atchinson. Few anglers are as well rounded as John, from center pinning for steelhead...he is a master of the bead, to saltwater fishing around the globe.

We are licensed guides for Olympic National Park's Quinault, Queets, Hoh and Quillayute Rivers. If you've never fished these upper watersheds your missing out on some of the most pristine Steelhead and Salmon rivers in the lower 48.
Wild Steelhead and their conservation is the single most important thing we can teach to fellow anglers. It's more than catch and release. Proper techniques and handling can insure that these amazing fish will be around for generations to come. We support the organizations that help protect wild fish. By purchasing products that are made in the USA from companies such as Orvis, we are helping to restore and maintain our outdoor heritage and you can help by doing the same.
